Rest of Summer '09
So, Utah was obviously the best/most exciting part of my summer. The rest has been rather uneventful and not really worth writing about, but I'll fill you in just a little.
I’ve been working at the library full-time. Yeah, that’s about 40 hours a week. I work in the Cataloging department, and my major job duties are to do the physical processing on new books that we get in (I stamp the books, put labels on the spine, put pockets in, etc.) and to repair older books (fading labels, labels that are falling off, labels that are wrong, books that are falling apart, etc.). So, it’s not the most exciting job in the world, but I work with some ladies that make work fun! Without them, I’d probably die of boredom. At one point last month, I started my first rubber band ball. It’s about the size of a baseball right now. I’m pretty proud of it, so no rude comments!

This is what it looks like!
When I get home from work, I usually either read my Amish books, crochet (working on some baby blankets), or go visiting teaching. We (Jamie and I) actually threw a bridal shower for a girl from church in June. It’s the fourth bridal shower I’ve done in less than a year, and I’m planning another one in early August! They’re a lot of work, but they are so much fun! I’m just now starting to get the hang of it.
Here are some pictures of the various bridal showers over the past 10 months:
